<p>The invention concerns a method for assembling parts of a body understructure, in particular a platform underframe for motor vehicles, particularly truck platform underframe and light truck platform underframe, wherein said parts (1) comprise bolted punched bent plate elements (4) pre-welded or not and specific parts (5). The latter called specific parts relative to the body and the chassis are characterized in that the bolted punched bent plate elements (4) and the specific parts (5) of the understructure (7) of an assembled chassis have precise perforations (6) designed to co-operate mutually forming a selectively modular system (2) for producing said understructure by assembling said parts (1) comprising bolted punched bent plate elements (4) and the specific linking parts (5) with rivets or bolts to be crimped. The invention is useful for fast production eliminating measurements of a truck or light truck platform underframe without damaging the vehicle resulting from welding techniques (glowing weld spatter, induced currents).</p> |
