<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a trouble caused by a contradiction between a recognition by a photographer and a real camera status by making the photographer confirm a time until a mirror-up status is automatically canceled. <P>SOLUTION: The camera has a decision means for making photographing operation transit to a waiting motion status while keeping the mirror-up status after mirror-up operation is performed when release start is operated and mirror-up photographing is set, photographing transition means (#224-#226) for starting photographing operation when the release start is operated again within a first prescribed time in the waiting motion status, automatic cancel means (#212-#215) for automatically canceling the mirror-up status without performing shutter running when the camera is left for the first prescribed time without operating the release start in the waiting motion status, and display means (#202, #210, #211 and #222) for displaying the time until the automatic cancel means work. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
