<p>A plasma display device which has a green phosphor having a crystal structure of Zn2SiO4:Mn, characterized in that a part of the green phosphor is substituted with a monovalent oxide, wherein the monovalent oxide is preferably at least one of lithium oxide (Li2O), sodium oxide (Na2O), potassium oxide (K2O), cesium oxide (Cs2O), rubidium oxide (Rb2O), copper oxide (Cu2O) and silver oxide (Ag2O). The plasma display has a green phosphor being reduced in oxygen defects formed therein and as a result being suppressed in the deterioration of its brightness, and thus exhibits improved discharge characteristics.</p> |
