<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both a simplified measuring technique by an electrophoresis method capable of easily, speedily, and highly reliably measuring a substance to be measured in a sample and an electrophoresis technique capable of making even a thin sample liquid clearly develop colors and simultaneously measuring a large number of specimens by one filter paper for migration. <P>SOLUTION: A filter paper piece for absorption in which the sample liquid is absorbed and a filter paper piece for absorption in which an internal reference liquid of the substance to be measured is absorbed are arranged on a set filter paper for migration wet with a mobile liquid at a maintained distance from each other so as not to buffer each other, and electricity is passed through them. The filter paper for migration is dried after the passage of electricity and colored by a coloring agent. From the ratios of the size and density of a colored section at the same location as the internal reference liquid to the internal reference liquid, the content of the substance to be measured in the sample is computed. Pairs of two slits in the direction of migration are provided for locations at which the filter paper for migration is to be spotted with the sample liquid, and at least two H-shaped slits formed by connecting the pair of two slits in the direction of migration via a connecting slit connecting the pair of slits in the direction of migration are bored in the slit paper. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
