<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balustrade which can have a common coping in spite of a face plate being different in shape and size, to thereby reduce costs and simplify mounting work, and to provide a balustrade mounting method. <P>SOLUTION: The balustrade 1 mounted on a parapet 4 arranged on a floor surface 3 of a balcony 2, is formed of a support member 8 erected from the parapet 4, a face plate 9 arranged outside the support member 8, and a coping 10 covering an upper bed of the face plate 9 and an upper bed of the support member 8. The coping 10 has a recess 10b into which the upper bed of the face plate 9 is inserted, and a holding member 21 making intimate contact with the recess 10b of the coping 10 and the face plate 9 is interposed between the upper bed of the face plate 9 and the recess 10b of the coping 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
