PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical type blind suspending and supporting slats from an inclined hanger rail, capable of preventing fallout of the slat in folding the slats. SOLUTION: In this vertical type blind, a runner 4 is movably supported on an inclined hanger rail 1, the slats 2 is rotatably hung down from the runner 4 and supported, and the runner 4 is moved by the operation of operating devices 7, 8 to thereby draw out and fold the slats 2. The angle of each slat 2 is controllable. The upper end part of the slat 2 is provided with a guide part for preventing the side edge of the slat from being caught in a suspension hook 3 of the slat 2 positioned on the lower end side of the hanger rail.
