The column clamp (11) in the holder has an extended side wall formed by an arm (12) with one end forming a guide groove (15) for receiving a guide arm (22) extending from one end of a moving part (20) in the holder. The guide arm is free to slide over its length and the moving part can be moved parallel to the arm on the column clamp, in order to clamp the padlock into position. The holder has an anchor stub (10) which is extended to form a column clamp.
