A circuit-forming unit has number of bus-rails (11,12,14) for forming a power-switching circuit, a semiconductor device in the power switching circuit, a control circuit card (20) for controlling the operation of the semiconductor switching device. The bus-rails are fastened on the surface of the control circuit card so that the bus-rails are largely arranged mutually in one plane, and the semiconductor switching device is mounted both on the corresponding bus-rails as well as the control circuit card. An Independent claim is given for a method of manufacturing a circuit-forming unit.
