PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution capable of being easily assembled, and realizing the miniaturization and the low cost. SOLUTION: This ice maker can be simplified and miniaturized, and the number of components can be reduced, as an ice detecting shaft 36 is directly driven by a cam 18 by a motor 7, a group of reduction gears for reducing the rotation of the motor 7, a final gear 16 rotated in a state of being engaged with the group of reduction gears to rotate an ice tray, the cam 18 mounted on the final gear 16, the ice detecting shaft 36 having a projecting part 40 directly contacting with the cam 18 and connected with an ice detecting lever 36a at its one end, and a bias spring 42 for pressing the projecting part 40 of the ice detecting shaft 36 to the cam 18.
