<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the frictional resistance of the inner and outer peripheral surfaces of a reinforced plastic pipe. <P>SOLUTION: In the reinforced plastic pipe P, a layer 12 composed of fiber reinforced resin is laminated on the inner and outer peripheral surface of a resin mortar layer 11. A protective layer 13 composed of resin mixed with low molecular weight tetrafluoroethylene resin powder 30 is formed on the inner and outer peripheral surfaces of the fiber reinforced resin layer 12. Since the low molecular weight tetrafluoroethylene resin powder 30 increases lubricity, the protective layer 13 reduces the frictional force of the inner and outer peripheral surfaces of the pipe P. Therefore, in the case of a power cable protective pipe P, the frictional force between a tension wire or cable and the pipe P is reduced, so that smooth leading in can be performed. Also, in the case of a propulsion pipe P, the frictional force of the outer surface in contact with the ground is reduced, so that smooth propulsion is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
