PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a mechanism having one or more recording heads provided on both sides of a recording medium in a perfecting printer. SOLUTION: The recording heads provided for the perfecting printing are moved by a single driving belt to perform the printing. Each of the plurality of the recording heads has a mechanism for detachably attaching the recording head to the belt. While capping is performed, the recording head is released from the driving belt.
