PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method maintenance-free for a long period and capable of automatically removing foreign matters adhered to an insulation part. SOLUTION: In a frame rod electrode 5, an insulation glass 8 between a core line 7 and a screw part 9 is covered with heat resistant inorganic adhesive agent 12. Accordingly, the foreign matters do not adhere to the insulation glass 8 but adhere to an inorganic adhesive 12. The inorganic adhesive 12 is gradually deteriorated from a surface and peeled off little by little when heated by a combustion flame. Since the foreign matters such as sulfur oxides adhered to the inorganic adhesive 12 can be removed together with the peeled inorganic adhesive 12, an insulation deterioration can be prevented so that the combustion flame can be satisfactorily detected for a long period. Namely, a self-cleaning function is provided to the frame rod electrode 5 to allow maintenance-free for a long period. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
