PURPOSE: A non-hygroscopic filling wire is provided to remarkably reduce absorbent rate of a flux filled in a wire by shielding wet from a magnesia clinker, which is raw material of the flux. CONSTITUTION: A flux filling wire is filled with a flux including a magnesia clinker as a slag forming agent. The magnesia clinker is coated with SiO2 powder, which has a minute particle surface. A ratio of SiO2 powder, which is coated on the magnesia clinker, to the magnesia clinker is about 0.03 to 0.20 weight percent. A grain size of SiO2 powder coated on the magnesia clinker is about 0.020 to 0.070mm.
