PURPOSE: A chewable composition comprising arrowroot powder, starch syrup and chewing gum base is provided to clean the teeth by chewing it. The composition can clean the teeth such as a molar tooth and a wisdom tooth without unduly abrading or scratching. CONSTITUTION: A mixture of 66.6g of arrowroot powder and 33.3g of starch syrup is formed into an arrowroot pill. Thereafter, 66.6% by weight of the arrowroot pill is heated at 40 to 60deg.C and then covered with 33.3% by weight of a chewing base.
