PURPOSE: A solid wire used of a CO2 welding is provided to prevent a spatter phenomenon generated during a welding process due to an unstableness of a welding arc by adjusting component of the solid wire. CONSTITUTION: A solid wire is used when a CO2 welding process is carried out. The solid wire includes 0.03 to 0.15 weight percent of C, 0.60 to 1.10 weight percent of Si, 1.40 to 1.90 weight percent of Mn, 0.00001 to 0.020 weight percent of P, 0.010 to 0.025 weight percent of S, 0.08 to 0.15 weight percent of Ti, 0.015 to 0.035 weight percent of Al, and Fe. Fe is main component of the solid wire. S improves an unstableness of a welding arc. Ti reinforces a stableness of the welding arc, thereby restricting an arc signal variation. Al controls viscosity of a molten metal so as to stabilize the molten metal.
