PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression molding apparatus by which the shape of a compression-molded product can be kept excellent even when the ratio of thermoplastics to be mixed in crushed combustibles is low. SOLUTION: A steam introducing port 12 is arranged on a casing 1 of a feeder 5 for supplying crushed combustibles to a compression molding machine 11 and the crushed combustibles before compression-molded are steamed so that the hydrolysis of cellulose, hemicellulose or the like being a component of paper, garbage or the like contained in the crushed combustibles is promoted actively. A sticky material produced by this hydrolysis is used as a binder for the compression-molded product so that the shape of the compression-molded product can be kept excellent even when the ratio of the thermoplastics to be mixed in the crushed combustibles is low.
