PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge unit that is simple in structure and can be easily swung to open and close and can be easily attached and detached. SOLUTION: The hinge unit H<SB>1</SB>is composed of an upper fixture 210 and an upper swinger 250. The upper fixture has a first plate-form portion 217 horizontally protruding from a first base portion 211 fastened to an outer frame 1. The first plate-from portion is made up of a lower plate member 230 in which a shaft supporting hole 231a and a guide hole 231 are formed, an elastic member 220 covering the guide hole and attached over the lower plate portion 230 and an upper plate member 236 attached to a lower plate member. The upper swinger 250 has a second plate-from portion 252 horizontally protruding from a second base portion 251 fastened to the front frame 2 and a supporting shaft 255 horizontally protruding from the underside thereof. When the supporting shaft 255 is guided into the guide hole 231 from the guide opening 237d on one side of the upper plate member 236 and moved forward, the elastic member 220 elastically deforms and moves the supporting shaft 255 to the shaft supporting hole 231a.
