PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner in which a dust collection cup is more easily removed. SOLUTION: An engaging edge part 166 of a cover body 104 of the dust collection cup 84 easily gripped by a hand and hardly soiling the hand engages with a suction side of a frame part 134 of an inducer 75 inside a motor case part 14. Engagement of the dust collection cup 84 and the motor case part 14 is fixed by engagement of an engaging pawl part 95 of a clamp part 93 provided on the bottom 88 of the dust collection cup 84 and an engaging projection part 98 of an air route case part 21. The engagement of the dust collection cup 84 and the air route case part 21 is released by a push of a cup-removing button 99 provided on the bottom 88 of the dust collection cup 84. The cup- removing button 99 is located on the right side in a travelling direction of a cleaner body 12 in the outside face of the dust collection cup 84. The cup- removing button 99 is able to be pushed by the hand gripping the dust collection cup 84, allowing working for removing the dust collection cup 84 from the cleaner body 12 to be more easy.
