PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically inspect the quality of a set state of a work to a resin molding die with a favorable accuracy. SOLUTION: When the work W is set in a space between upper and lower dies 2a and 2b, and a resin molding is performed, an illumination reflecting means 8 is inserted in the space between the upper and lower dies 2a and 2b under a state wherein the work W is set in the lower die 2b. Then, while the work set area is illuminated from the straight top, the reflected light from the work set area is guided to a location being away from the dies 2a and 2b in the horizontal direction, and the image is photographed by an imaging means 9. Then, the quality of the set state of the work W is discriminated by a computer device 10 by the brightness of the photographed image at the work set area. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
