PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die forming device capable of improving forming accuracy for a strip material by reducing the wear of a base roller. SOLUTION: In the device, both a topside die 12 and a bottom work roll 4 depress an intermittently-running strip material T to be rolled and formed. A standing section 2b is provided on a basis 2 so as to face a leg 3a of a holding section 3 supporting the work roll 4. On the top surface of the standing section 2a, a recessed portion 20 is formed to fix a flat cage 22. On this flat cage 22, a number of rollers 24 are rotatably-arranged in parallel with a rotary shaft 4a of the work roll 4 over the reciprocating range of the work roll 4. The top end of these roller 24 hits against the bottom of the leg, while the top surface of the standing section 2a does not contact the leg. Loads or reaction forcees from both the holding section 3 and the work roll 4 are dispersed and received by a plurality of rollers 24. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
