GATE STRUCTURE OF INJECTION MOLD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the gate structure of an injection mold for rotationally operating a core in a forward and rearward direction not receiving mold clamping force to make the opening area of a gate part variable, ensuring the stable operation of the core and also dispensing with the fine adjustment of the contact boundary surface of a fixed mold and a movable mold. SOLUTION: The injection mold is equipped with the runner 8 opposed to the sprue 3 provided to the fixed mold 1, the core 6 equipped with the gate part 9 allowing the runner 8 to communicate with a cavity 5 and provided to the movable mold 4 by a support shaft 7 so as to be revolvable in the advance and retreat moving direction of the movable mold 4 and an actuator for controlling the operation of the core such as an air cylinder 12 or the like for pushing the core 6 forwardly in such a state that the movable mold 4 is brought into contact with the fixed mold 1 to set the same to an upright posture to increase the opening area of the gate part 9 and drawing the core 6 rearwardly to set the same to a rearwardly inclined posture to reduce the opening area of the gate part 9.
