<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LLPL gene expression failure non-human animal, and to provide an LLPL gene transfer non-human animal. <P>SOLUTION: The LLPL gene-inactivated non-human animal ES cell is highly useful on the creation of an LLPL gene expression failure non-human animal. The LLPL gene expression failure non-human animal can be used as a model for diseases caused by the failure of LLPL bioactivities, since various bioactivities capable of being derived from LLPL are deleted. Thereby, the LLPL gene expression failure non-human animal is useful for screening medicines for preventing and/or treating various diseases caused by the LLPL deficit, and for investigating the causes of the LLPL-related diseases and examining methods for treating the LLPL-related diseases.
