APPARATUS FOR MEASURING INNER DIAMETER OF CONTINUOUSLY MOVING COIL STRIP

PURPOSE: An inner diameter measuring apparatus for a coil strip is provided to check whether or not a work is possible by continuously measuring an inner diameter of the coil strip before the coil strip is introduced into a pay off reel. CONSTITUTION: An inner diameter measuring apparatus includes a conveying device, a guiding device and a measuring device. The conveying device has an actuator(32) capable of moving up and down along a vertical column(12) installed on a bottom base(11). The guiding device has a base beam(46) coupled to a side of the actuator(32) so as to be introduced into a coil strip. The measuring device has a measuring rod(58) attached to an end of the base beam(46) in order to measure an inner diameter of the coil strip. The conveying device includes a chain(25), a driving motor(21) and a pulse generator(36).
