Gauze-reinforced films are produced in a process where the film is extruded. At least two groups of reinforcing ribs are extruded together at an acute angle to each other, the die outlets of one being moved relative to those of the other during the process. ADVANTAGE - The method produces the reinforced films in one operation (thus saving time/cost).
