VACUUM CLEANER AND INTAKE PORT BODY THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor brush of the vacuum cleaner which can suck dusts more surely ahead and sideways. SOLUTION: A main intake port 26 is so opened as to suck dusts almost fully in the longitudinal direction of a bottom part 25 of a lower case 22 of a floor brush 16. A dry wiping brush body 36 is mounted to wipe out the dusts on floor surfaces almost fully in the longitudinal direction of a bottom surface part 25 ahead of the main intake port 26. The dry wiping brush body 36 substitutes for a running wheel thereby facilitating the movement of the floor brush 16. A front intake port 41 is opened to suck dusts almost fully in the longitudinal direction at the tip part of the lower case 22 ahead of the dry wiping brush body 36 and the dry wiping suction port 41 can improve the airtightness behind the front intake port 41. The suction of dusts is done more surely ahead of the floor brush 16 and sideways with the front intake port 41. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
