PURPOSE: Equipment for blocking prevention arising inside the preheater in initial operation of a rotary kiln is provided to enable homogeneous thermal exchange and flow of thermal gas by using rotary dampers inside the preheater. Accordingly, the equipment increases productivity and prevents abrasion of kiln bricks. CONSTITUTION: The blocking prevention equipment comprises the parts of: a preheater(103), having a hollow part(130) on its center, for heating limestone fed into a rotary kiln(125) in advance, wherein the hollow part has a cone and various holes(130a); a main part with cylindrical rotary dampers(129) forming many holes on the bottom to make the holes of the hollow part open and close; a motor(111), set outside of the hollow part, for running the rotary dampers; a power transferring part equipped with a first(108), a second(107), a third(117) and a fourth(115) running gear, and a first running shaft(106) connecting the second and the third gear, and a second running shaft connecting damper and the fourth gear; a supporting part with a support(113) enabling the rotation of the fourth gear through a bearing(118); a control part for dealing with running signals for opening and closing of the damper, based on the temperature in the preheater. The dampers are opened and closed when the temperatures in the preheater are over 600deg.C and under 600deg.C, respectively.
