Use in the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment or prophylaxis of T-cell mediated delayed type hypersensitivity conditions in a mammalian patient, of an aliquot of modified mammalian blood for administration to the patient, the blood aliquot having been modified extracorporeally by simultaneous or sequential exposure to the stress of an oxidative environment and the stress of UV radiation.
