The invention refers to a belt appliance (1) for alpine sportsmen, first of all snowboarders and skiers, for the attachment to a T-bar of a ski tow (10). The appliance (1) comprises a receiving loop (1a) and an attachment belt (1b) creating an eye. The receiving loop is wrapped around the sportsman's (9) body while the attachment belt (1b) is hung in a locked condition on a T-bar.
