The purpose of the present invention is to improve yield when a display device is manufactured. The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a display device which displays an image by using a display element. The first surface of a glass substrate is exposed to an aqueous solution including hydrogen fluoride (HF). An organic resin layer having a polar group is formed on the first surface of the glass substrate. A layer including the display device is formed on the organic resin layer and bonds a counter substrate to cover the display element. |
