SEPARATOR FOR MOLTED CARBONATE FUEL CELL

PURPOSE: A separator for a molten carbonate fuel cell is provided, to improve the durability of the separator under the condition of a high temperature molten salt by carrying out double coating. CONSTITUTION: A molten carbonate fuel cell contains a separator containing a nickel coating layer at the region contact with a positive electrode, wherein a titanium nitride(TiN) coating layer with a thickness of 10 micrometers or less is formed between the surface of the separator and the nickel coating layer. Preferably the thickness of the nickel coating layer is 25-50 micrometers.
