PURPOSE: A safety apparatus for a laundry drying stand is provided to prevent wrong operation, and to improve the reliability by restricting a connection string from being entangled with stopping a driving motor in fitting to the obstacle or loosening the connection string. CONSTITUTION: A laundry drying stand has a driving motor, a bobbin rotated by the driving motor, a connection string wound on the bobbin, a guide roller guiding the connection string, and a clothes fitting unit connecting a bar to the connection line. A safety device of the laundry drying stand comprises a tension detecting unit(70) detecting tension of the connection string in restricting the clothes fitting unit from moving down against the obstacle and loosening the connection string, and a driving motor control unit stopping the driving motor according to the detecting signal from the tension detecting unit. Wrong operation is prevented by restricting the connection string from being entangled. |
