PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent short circuit between adjacent electrode terminals caused by contamination of conductive foreign matter at the time of thermo compression bonding of a PDP panel and electrode terminals of an FPC. SOLUTION: The PDP panel is structured by sealing a data panel 11 and a scan panel 12 facing to each other. An insulation layer 14 is formed on a surface of a panel electrode terminal 13 arranged at an end part of the data panel by changing its position from both the adjacent panel electrode terminals. On the other hand, an insulation layer 18 is arranged to the FPC electrode terminal 17 of the FPC 15 in correspondence with the insulation layer 14 of the panel electrode terminal 13 of a PDP panel 10. The FPC electrode terminal 17 of the FPC is electrically connected to the panel electrode terminal 13 of the PDP panel 10 via an ACF 19 by thermo compression bonding. Other end parts of the FPC are connected to a module PKG and the module PKG is mounted to the PDP panel. The PDP panel of this invention does not cause short circuit between adjacent electrode terminals even if contamination of a conductive foreign matter occurs at the time of thermo compression bonding.
