<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a jitter characteristics of reproduced clock component and data component. <P>SOLUTION: A photo detector converts a light signal into the photoelectric current of a data signal, and a pre-amplifier 5 converts the current amplitude of the photoelectric current of the data signal into the voltage amplitude of the data signal, while a post amplifier 6a amplifies the voltage amplitude of the data signal so as to make an output amplitude constant. A peak detector circuit 15 detects the peak voltage of an AC component of the data signal from the post amplifier 6a, and a variable bias generating circuit 16 generates a DC bias in accordance with the peak voltage while a CDR 11 inputs the AC component of the data signal, to which the DC bias from the bias resistor 10 is added, to reproduce the clock component and the data component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
