<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital computer capable of efficiently logging information. <P>SOLUTION: This digital computer has a main control part 101 for extracting recording operation from operation of a scanner 1c and a printer 1d on the basis of a recording level for indicating stepwise the content of the operation of the scanner 1c and the printer 1d for operating according to indicating information for indicating the operation, and a memory 102 for recording a history of the extracted operation.
