<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a congestion control system for a VoIP network capable of providing voice communication with desired quality by a simple method. <P>SOLUTION: The system monitors a packet flow of transferring packets according to prescribed priority through a relay router in the VoIP network, and in the case that congestion is caused by the generation of a new packet flow, executes congestion control for maintaining a transfer state of the packets of the packet flow established before the generation of the new packet flow and transferred by the prescribed priority. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
