TEMPER ROLLING OIL

PURPOSE: Temper rolling oil is provided, to reduce the generation amount zinc abrasion powder causing a roll mark by reducing the coefficient of friction, to improve the quality of surface of zinc-plated steel and to prevent the stopping of a nozzle by inhibiting the propagation of fungi. CONSTITUTION: The temper rolling oil comprises 1-5 wt% of octanoic acid as a saturated fatty acid; 10-20 wt% of trialkylamine; 5-10 wt% of dipropylene glycol; 0.2-1 wt% of a zinc corrosion preventing agent; and 1-5 wt% of polyoxyethylene alkyl ether as a surfactant. Preferably the temper rolling oil comprises further 1-5 wt% of synthetic lubrication oil, and/or 0.2-1 wt% of a microorganism propagation inhibiting agent.
