PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional color selection electrode structure of aperture grille type that uses an aperture grille having grid element bodies arranged by forming slender slits in a stripe pattern and restrains vibration by external shock by partly pressing each grid element body with a damper line, for example, shaking of a screen is likely to happen because vibration is not sufficiently restrained. SOLUTION: At an end part of a slender slit 11 formed at the aperture grille 1, a surface side of ridge part 11a where a slanting inner side face 11c of the slender slit 11 crosses the surface is formed to have a shoulder shape part 11f and a narrow part 11e and thus the end part rigidity of the adjacent grid element body 12 is improved.
