PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide a high quality finder optical system for ensuring an ideal field of view rate. SOLUTION: A PC 300 detects a position corresponding to a photographing range which is acquired by a video camera 200 and is indicated by a field of view frame mask 114 obtained through the finder optical system (115, 116 and 117) of a digital camera 100 from a picked up image that is picked up by an imaging device 131 of the digital camera 100, generates information for specifying the position and gives the information to the digital camera 100. A controller 121 of the digital camera 100 extracts a partial area in the picked up image picked up by the imaging device 131 on the basis of the information and records the image of the area on a memory card 137.
