DISPLAY CONSISTING OF COMPUTER HOLOGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display which consists of computer holograms arranged in a cell or dot unit, improves the design characteristic as the display without impairing the function of information recording (reproducing) and additionally improves an effect capable of hiding recording information. SOLUTION: The shape of the computer holograms arranged within the cells or dots which are the constitution units of patterns is rectangular and the luminance modulation (diffraction efficiency) of the reproducing light from the cell type computer holograms is arbitrarily set by arbitrarily changing at least either of the size of the rectangular shape and the depth of formed interference fringes.
