FIELD: filtering with use of drum-type vacuum filters; applicable in chemical, petrochemical, metallurgical, machine building and other industries, and also in ecological processes in purification of sewage waters from suspended particles. SUBSTANCE: drum-type vacuum filter has trough for suspension, rotating perforated drum with cells and connected with distributing head, endless filtering partition in form of perforated film from flexible material with rims over edges engaged with guide rollers, driving rollers located above drum, and also hold-down rollers installed in places of partition leaving the drum, driving roller at outlet of regeneration zone has length and rotation speed exceeding that of driving roller at inlet of regeneration zone by a factor of 1.2-1.4. EFFECT: increased productivity due to reduced consumption of power, flushing liquid and time of regeneration owing to free removal of suspension particles from holes of filtering partition. 3 dwg |
