PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sash provided with a flat lower frame smooth in opening and closing a shoji screen and having a beautiful appearance without damaging the upper face of the lower frame. SOLUTION: In the sash wherein the shoji screens 91 and 91 in a frame body formed by assembling the upper and lower frames and right and left vertical frames are installed freely travelably, a shoji screen traveling part of the upper face of the lower frame 11 is substantially flatly formed, a recess groove 13 in which a projection piece 44 projected downward from a lower rail 41 of the shoji screens 91 and 92 are arranged is formed along the longitudinal direction of the shoji screen tarveling part, a projection-like guide rail 15 is formed to mount thereon sash rollers 43 of the shoji screens 91 and 92 to guide traveling of the shoji screens 91 and 92, and a height of the guide rail 15 its substantially the same as the indoor side upper face of the lower frame or less.
