<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus that controls the speed of music to the rhythm of running. <P>SOLUTION: With the apparatus data of steps when a person is running is measured by a signal inputting device worn by the person, and the adequate speed of music is calculated from the interval of the signals, and by adjusting the speed of the music to the speed of steps with an MIDI music reproducing apparatus which can vary the speed of reproduction, the state of running to the music can be maintained even when the running rhythm changes.
