PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management structure for utilizing video contents produced in compliance with DVD video for DVD audio.

SOLUTION: An audio subdirectory and a video subdirectory are provided under a root directory. The video subdirectory includes video contents VTS and its management information VMG. The audio subdirectory includes audio contents ATS and its management information AMG. With the video management information VMG, only the video contents VTS is accessible. However, the audio management information AMG is constituted so that not only the audio contents ATS but also the video contents VTS can be accessed.
