PURPOSE: To obtain a resin composition capable of sufficiently dispersing an additive such as a flame retardant and giving a molded material having excel lent appearance by selecting a kneading condition to maintain a prescribed relation between a shear rate and a specific energy. CONSTITUTION: This resin composition is obtained by extruding an aliphatic polyamide composition comprising (A) 0-20 pts.wt. of a polyamide derived fromε-caprolactam and (B) 80-100 pts.wt. of a polyamide comprising dipic acid and hexamethylene-diamine (the sum of the component A and the component B is 100 pts.wt.) and containing <=40wt.% additive (e.g. a flame retardant concretely melamine cyanulate, etc.) using an extruder. In the process, the composition is obtained by selecting the kneading condition in such a manner as to keep a shear rate (γ=10-110 (unit; sec<-1> )) and a specific energy (ESP: unit; kwh/kg) to satisfy the relations expressed by formula I and formula II [(x) is content of the component A, (y) is content of the component B ((x+y)=100; T is a preset temperature of a barrel ( deg.C); Tr is torque (kg.m); Q is rate of discharge (kg/hr); the peripheral speed (rad/s) is a value reduced to 40kg/hr]. |
