PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the out-of-band frequency characteristics of a high-frequency module approximate very close to the out-of-band characteristics of a surface acoustic wave (SAW) filter. SOLUTION: A reference numeral 10 denotes the bottom surface of a package whose surface is covered with a metal film to house a high-frequency module consisting of a high-frequency amplifier, an SAW filter substrate 2 and a frequency converter substrate 2. A reference numeral 11 denotes a terminal, which is provided inside the package and is connected to the metal film of the bottom surface of the package. A grounding electrode 4 of the SAW filter is connected to the bottom surface 10 of the package with a first connecting wire 8 via the terminal 11 connected to the metal film of the bottom surface of the package, to set the potential of the ground of the SAW very close to zero.
