PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that efficiency is reduced and electromagnetic sound increases because a stator 2a of a motor element 2 is transformed by the influence of the inner face of a hermetically sealed container 1, and the gap between the stator 2a and a rotor 2b is not made uniform when the stator 2a comprising a split-core system core is shrink-fitted to the hermetically sealed container 1, in a hermetically sealed compressor made up of the motor element 2 and the compression element 3 in the hermetically sealed container 1. SOLUTION: The stator 2a of the motor element 2 is fitted to the inner circumferential face of the hermetically sealed container 1 in the gap-fitted state or in the middle fitting state and is fixed into the hermetically sealed container 1 by pressing the stator 2a from rotary shaft directional both side outside.
