摘要 PURPOSE: A chromium-free emulsion polymerization resin composition for treating tin-plated steel is provided, which is environment-friendly owing to free from chromium and exhibits an excellent organic coating adhesive strength to a metal material. CONSTITUTION: The chromium-free emulsion polymerization resin composition comprises 2-10 parts by weight of acrylic acid; 30-50 parts by weight of butyl acrylate; 5-10 parts by weight of hydroxyethyl methacrylate; 0-25 parts by weight of styrene; 10-15 parts by weight of methyl methacrylate; and 0.5-3 parts by weight of glycidyl methacrylate. Preferably the composition is prepared by using 5-7 parts by weight of at least one kind of nonionic emulsifier selected from the group consisting of octyl phenol ethylene oxide and nonyl phenol ethylene oxide, when it is emulsion polymerized; and the composition is polymerized by pre-emulsion polymerization method.
