<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system providing faster processing speed by new data reduction of a wider range in an image recognition system distinguishing predetermined information contents from an image signal of an electronic camera. <P>SOLUTION: The center of gravity of the optical signal mark attached to the moving object is determined by photogrammetry by shooting the object by a video camera, supplying the image signal to a digital processing unit for data reduction as a sequence per row of digital picture elements, sequentially integrating groups of adjacent pixels of sequentially continuous image rows into n×m matrixes for the data reduction and evaluating them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
