Force feeding apparatus for ducks and geese has mechanism to immobilise bird's head with neck extended relative to fixed frame of cage

The apparatus, comprising a cage with a fixed frame, has a mechanism (39, 40, 42) for immobilising the head of at least one bird at a time with its neck extended in the force feeding position relative to the frame. The cage has a buccal tube for each bird, made with one section (29) that is fixed to the frame, at least during force feeding, and another (28) that forms part of a clamp for the upper half of the beak in conjunction with a padded outer element (40).
