FIELD: manufacture of hand-made articles. SUBSTANCE: hand knitting device has rectangular rod having spiral portion, with number of coils being at least one. Coil pitch is equal to (1-4)D and thickness of spiral coil is (0.25-1)D, where D is diameter of rod. Device may be used for fastening of outer course by means of needle or hook, stitching of knitted web, connecting several webs and dividing fabric into parts.
